| Education Programs
We believe the key to environmental conservation and preservation is education. Our mission is to foster awareness, enhance respect and promote personal responsibility for the natural world. We achieve our mission through serving as a wildlife sanctuary, focusing on birds of prey (raptors) and by offering educational programming.
Educational Opportunities
Traveling Programs : Live Bird of Prey Demonstrations, Owl Pellet Dissection Workshop and Raptors for the Arts. For details see Raptors on the Road page.
Nature Hikes at Mendon Ponds Park : Raptors, Songbirds and Mammals, Tracking, and Lunar Walks are available as Private Guided Tours and Nature Hikes.

Wild Wings Birthday Party: Have a Wild Wings Birthday Party for your child! (Have you booked a birthday party at Wild Wings and are now in need of invitations?) *Download Wild Wings Birthday Party Invitations*
Online Resources: Raptor Spotlight is a monthly focus on a specific bird species. Raptor Rap is a list of facts and fascinating tidbits about birds of prey (and other animals). Our newsletter, Mews News is a great source for information on Wild Wings, raptors and nature in general. Here is some Recommended Reading that is not only enjoyable but educational as well.
Our educational programs will increase both in numbers and scope going forward. While our emphasis is raptors, future programming is being developed that is geared towards the environment and natural world as a whole. Our programming audience ranges from young to old with special attention to youth education.
Please contact us with your questions. We always welcome your thoughts on how we can enhance our educational efforts.
